Psycho-educational Assessments in English (for children 4-18 years of age)
Melanie obtained her Doctorate degree (PhD) in Educational Psychology from the University of Alberta, Canada, with scholarship, specializing in learning, development, and assessment. Prior to this, she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree with First Class Honours in Psychology. Melanie’s research, which focuses on human development, has been presented in France, Italy, Canada, and the United States.
Melanie is certified as both an Educational Psychologist and Rehabilitation Psychologist. She is a Registered Psychologist with the Singapore Psychological Society, member of the American Psychological Association and a member of the Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics.
Her interests include cognitive, learning, and behavioural challenges of children and adolescents. She is an expert in assessment and has been providing clinical assessments for the past 11 years. Melanie provides external clinical supervision to psychology students and is a consultant senior child psychologist with the National University Hospital.
